If we learn of a security breach, we may attempt to notify you electronically by posting a notice on the Services or sending an email to you. We do not guarantee the security of PII or other information in any form, including if you send us an email or use one of our online forms, and your submission of information to ASF is at your own risk.
Despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable and no method of data transmission or storage can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse.
Do Not Track
Do Not Track (DNT) is a privacy preference people using the internet can often set if they do not want web services to collect information about their online activity. However, there is currently no universal standard for sending and receiving DNT signals. Due to this lack of universal standard, it would be impossible for us to promise that we comply with all known and unknown DNT standards.
Therefore, ASF does not in any way monitor or respond to DNT signals or other mechanisms that provide a choice regarding the collection of personally identifiable information about activities over time and across different Web sites or online services.
If a universal standard for DNT becomes available we may revisit our DNT Policy.
Upon request, you have the right to request an internal audit to your PII stored with us to ensure that it is accurate, complete and current, except where the burden or expense of providing access would be disproportionate to the risks to your privacy or where the rights of other persons would be violated. In addition, we will take reasonable steps to correct, amend or delete information that you can independently and reasonably demonstrate is inaccurate or incomplete. This may be accomplished by contacting ASF via the contact information below or through a hyperlink provided in emails. You may also, by the same means, withdraw your consent to the collection and use your PII. However, please note that, by withdrawing your consent, it may be impossible for us to continue to provide you with certain services. You may further request that ASF destroy any or all of your PII that ASF retains. ASF will then, within a reasonable span of time, comply with your request.
