Mariaelena serves as the Vice President of Reengineering for C, the largest personal lines agency in the United States. With 28 years of experience across diverse industries, including financial services, technology, and bio-tech, she brings a strategic and innovative approach to her role. Her distinguished career includes leadership positions at the Federal Reserve Bank, Lexicon, Xerox, and Trusted Hands Network, as well as consulting for bio-tech companies. At Confie, Mariaelena has driven transformative initiatives, streamlining operations and achieving significant efficiency gains.

Mariaelena holds an MBA from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a BA from California State University, Fullerton. She is also a dedicated educator, serving as a professor for MBA students at California Trinity University, where she imparts her expertise in business strategy and leadership. Her commitment to social impact is demonstrated by her past role as the founding Executive Director of the former Ingles Sin Barreras Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to educational advancement, and her ongoing involvement in community initiatives.

A native of Colombia, she is fluent in Spanish and English. Based in Los Angeles, she is an avid host of family and friend gatherings, and enjoys dancing, traveling, and practicing energy healing.
