Dulce is a Mexican American from San Diego, California, and spent part of her upbringing in Guadalajara, Mexico. She is a first-generation college graduate who earned a B.A. in Visual Arts from the University of San Diego. Dulce joined Advancing Students Forward through the College Corps fellowship in 2023 and has since continued supporting ASF’s mission. While tutoring students in English and assisting with administrative work, she developed a deep appreciation for ASF’s impact and now contributes through digital communications. As an aspiring photographer, Dulce believes education extends beyond the classroom and uses visual media to highlight ASF’s commitment to empowering youth through holistic development.
