To Grow Food, Knowledge, & Community
Our partnership with Bayside Community Center began with a simple act of donating fruit from our citrus trees—and has since blossomed into a thriving urban garden in the heart of Linda Vista. Located at our office, this collaborative space now serves as a Tiny Garden site supplying fresh produce to over 100 local families, an educational hub where residents learn to grow their own food, and a model of sustainable practices like composting, drip irrigation, and native planting. Together, Bayside and ASF are building a healthier, more self-sufficient, and environmentally conscious community.
Centro de Comunidad, A.C.
Creating Opportunity in Colonia Tecolote
Advancing Students Forward (ASF) partners with Centro de Comunidad, A.C.—a longstanding community center in Colonia Tecolote, Tijuana—to expand educational opportunities and support for youth in one of the city’s most underserved neighborhoods. ASF students conduct their monthly meetings at the Centro de Comunidad A.C. and perform volunteer service. Together we offer youth-led programs like Homework Club and Summer Camp, all aimed at empowering young people to thrive despite the area’s economic and social challenges.
